Once you have collected these leads, then you can nurture them, and build a relationship with them, so that eventually, they trust you enough to buy your recommended products.

Suppose you are spending $100 a month on Facebook ads (or any other paid advertising platform) to get new traffic. Instead of collecting their email and name, you DIRECTLY take them to your product page.

So, $100 gets you, say 50 people to visit your product page. And out of the 50 people, 1 person ends up buying your product. What about the rest of the 49 people on whom you spent equal money to get to your website?

You lost all of them when they could have become your customers in the future. This loss happened only because you did not collect their email addresses. You have to understand that people don’t make buying decisions in a jiffy.
